Polar Park, home of the Worcester Red Sox, was conceived, designed, approved, and built in an unprecedented timeframe – just over two years. The project converted a 20-acre brownfields property into a new stadium that anchors a community-focused mixed-use district with strong and sustainable economic vitality.
Leaders of Worcester’s Executive Office of Economic Development and Transportation and Mobility Department ensured the park delivered numerous equitable improvements to the surrounding community. The Bohler team played an integral role in this fast-paced project, bringing together community stakeholders, providing civil engineering design for the 9,500-seat stadium, and coordinating activities with MassDOT, Worcester’s leadership, and the City’s Department of Public Works.
Join us on September 14 when Peter Dunn, Stephen Rolle, and Austin Turner will share how this feat of planning, transportation, and civil engineering was accomplished. We will start with a presentation and Q&A session followed by some networking at the nearby Bay State Brewing Company. Ticket price includes appetizers and baseball game tickets! We will then head over to Polar Park to watch the Worcester Red Sox take on the Syracuse Mets.
