ASCE offers this training to infrastructure professionals and students interested in supporting or amplifying its infrastructure report card – the organization’s flagship tool for advocating at the local, state, and federal levels. Over 2.5 hours, attendees will receive instruction on the importance of engineers, other infrastructure professionals, and stakeholders adding their voices to the ongoing public debate about improving interconnected systems across 18 infrastructure categories in transportation, water, energy, and telecommunications. The second half of the kickoff session will provide attendees with best practices for state report card success – from preliminary research through the release press conference and government relations outreach. Stick around after the event for a social hour at Beantown Pub!
