Mission
The Southeastern MA Committee was established by BSCES in order to provide a forum for its membership in the southeast region of the Commonwealth (including Bristol County, Plymouth County, Barnstable County/Cape Cod & the Islands and parts of Norfolk County) to promote civil engineering through community outreach programs and events and sponsorship of professional development workshops and seminars, as well as social networking activities.
Activities
Members of the committee participate annually at local and regional High School Career Day Events promoting career paths in civil engineering. The committee sponsors one or two professional development events during each BSCES fiscal year.
