Francis M. Keville Memorial Scholarship

The Francis M. Keville Memorial Fund was established from donations in recognition of Mr. Keville’s efforts and abilities to take his vision of large public transportation projects and make them a reality. The fund provides a forum to discuss important aspects of transportation and construction related matters through an annual function and is devoted to the encouragement of individual or groups in the following ways:

  • Provides, through a competitive selection, a scholarship to students at local engineering colleges and universities in recognition of achievement or promise in transportation and/or construction.
  • Provides a grant to a worthy activity enhancing the transportation and/or construction related field.

This merit-based scholarship has a total value of $10,000. This award may be used for tuition, books, housing, or other needs.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Francis M. Keville Memorial Scholarship, a student must:

  • Be attending a Massachusetts college or university and accepted for admission or currently enrolled in an ABET accredited program for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering with a transportation or construction focus or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in construction management.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in a transportation or construction discipline of civil engineering or construction management.
  • Be a BSCES Student Member.
