This award is to be presented to a member of the K-12 educational community who integrates engineering topics, particularly civil engineering, in a manner that benefits the profession and may promote students to pursue an engineering career. The Public Awareness and Outreach Committee reviews these nominations and recommends the recipient to the Board.
The BSCES Awards Committee solicits nominations for this award during the first quarter of the calendar year and submits nominees for the BSCES Board of Government’s consideration. The award is presented at the BSCES Annual Awards Celebration held in June.
