In 2002, BSCES established the Jonathan B. Golden Fund to honor the memory of Jon Golden and his many contributions to the environmental engineering profession. The total amount of the initial donations exceeded $20,000. The fund honors his genuine commitment to the mentoring and training of young engineers. The purpose of the Fund is to provide a scholarship to a graduate environmental engineering student at an accredited New England college or university.
Currently, the Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) Boston Chapter oversees the use of the fund to ensure it is utilized for its intended purpose.
