Scott M. Grier is a structural engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) in Boston, MA, whose work focuses on the assessment, repair, and rehabilitation of existing structures and building enclosures. His project experience includes condition assessments, restoration design, construction administration, and forensic investigations for institutional, commercial, and historic structures throughout New England. Scott earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. He has been active in BSCES since moving to Boston in 2022 and currently serves as Chair of the Younger Member Group.
