Consists of Technical Group chair, clerk, vice chair, clerk, past chair and chair of the Forum Committee. Does not have representatives on either the Membership or Awards Committees.
The Executive Committee meets approximately five times per year on an irregular and as-needed basis. Meetings are held in the evening at one of the committee member's offices or before a Geo-Institute-sponsored dinner meeting.
New members may join the group by expressing interest to one of the current members of the Geo-Institute.
Forum Committee consisting of a chair and four or five members; chair also serves on the Executive Committee.
Geotechnical Lecture Series (biennially); members outside committee sought depending on lecture topic; past chair serves as chair.
Casagrande Lecture/Fund (biennially); three members from executive/forum committee; past chair serves as chair.
