Strategic Plan

MISSION

A Strategic Plan Committee was organized in 1992 to develop a 5-year strategic plan for BSCES.  The Committee developed a long range plan, containing 11 goal areas that were adopted by the Board of Government on May 18, 1993.

The committee was reactivated in 1994 to review and update the plan to incorporate "pro-active" engineering. A twelfth goal area was developed and adopted by the Board of Government on January 23, 1995. The 1994-1995 committee also assisted the president in reviewing a proposed draft of ASCE's national strategic plan.

An updated plan was developed in 1998 and 1999, presented to the Board of Government on January 24, 2000 and adopted in March 2000.

An updated plan was developed in 2008 and 2009, presented to the Board of Government and adopted <read plan>.
