Land Development Group

MISSION

The focus of the Land Development Group is the advancement and dissemination of scientific and engineering knowledge in all areas related to land development. The group will advocate a holistic interdisciplinary approach that identifies key project goals, while considering the social and economic consequences of development.  The group will be a forum for educating the engineering community on land development projects and engineering issues and will provide opportunity for discussion, debate, and networking.


GROUP CHARGE
• To sponsor or co-sponsor three presentations or events per year
• Provide forum for discussion of regulations that affect land development projects
• Forum for discussion of technologies that affect land development projects
• Inform engineering education institutions of our activities and to provide staff for student activities.
• Provide recommendations to BSCES Executive Board for official positions on federal, state and local regulations affecting land development.
