Civil Engineering Practice: Journal of the BSCES
The BSCES Journal, Civil Engineering Practice, continues its mission to present timely practice-oriented papers. The journal receives papers from authors across the country and internationally for review and possible publication. The journal provides a mix of technical developments from the United States and abroad, as well as serves as a means to bring innovative techniques to a larger audience. Our journal is the only known practice-related publication in the United States that covers every discipline within civil engineering.
The journal is published twice yearly (ISBN: 0886-9685) in the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Civil Engineering Practice seeks to capture the spirit and substance of contemporary civil engineering practice in a careful selection of articles which are comprehensive in scope while remaining readily understandable to the non-specialist. Typically using a case-study approach, Civil Engineering Practice places key emphasis on the presentation of techniques being applied successfully in the analysis, justification, design, construction, operation and maintenance of civil engineering works. Section members of the Society receive Civil Engineering Practice as part of their membership fees. Subscription members exist throughout the globe. New subscribers are welcome.
